How long does plaster take to dry?

Plaster will take 1-2 days to dry on an average size room. The drying time will increase to approx 3-6 days where central heating has not been fitted. (ie new builds / extensions).

How long will a room take to plaster?

A standard size room will take 1-2 days depending on job specification.

Does the room need to be cleared prior to plastering?

All customers are told in advance to clear all furniture, however if there are items that due to size and weight cannot be removed, we will cover with a water resistant plastic sheeting.

What is the procedure of plastering a room?

Any wallpaper will have to be stripped by either customer or D L Plastering. All furniture will need to be removed. Once cleared, a water resistant plastic covering will be laid onto floors  to prevent any damage. After job completion, room is cleared and all waste removed off site.

When can I paint on the plaster?

Plaster will be ready for painting approximately 1-2 days after wet application. You will notice a uniformed  colour in the plaster for guidance.
